Default 83 games

Sean Monaghan is.the only player in the league to play 83 games this regular season. He is also probably the best value pickup before the deadline.

26 goals, 59 points too! Yup, Treliving is the gift that keeps on giving.

Not just cast aside, bundled with a still to be determined first round pick to get rid of him.

LOL, the fact that we're talking about Sean Monahan playing not only a full season, but one more game than a full one is downright ironic.

He's only played 82 games once in his entire career, and this is the first time he's played more than 70 games since 2018.

I actually thought he'd be out of the league by 30, but he's showing us what he's made of. An absolute warrior. Always loved Monahan, always will.

I think he showing why you shouldn't just let players through injuries. Part of it was probably Monahan wanting to play through and masking things, but I am sure Treliving knew he needed time to recover and didn't insist he take it.

If he wins a Cup, I will cheer for him like he won with Calgary. Probably the only guy aside from Iggy I want to see hoist a Cup if not with the Flames

I still don’t understand why we just didn’t LTIR him. Could have come back healthy for the playoffs and been traded after that. I dont think Treliving ever understood asset management.

Good luck to Monahan!

He said he was 100% that summer,. At Montreal's training camp he said he never felt better.

Did he add a G to his name to remember the extra game he played?

Tre’s biggest error. Not the only error, but the biggest. For that reason alone I’m glad he’s gone from the organization.

Don't you mean 11th overall in 2025?

Concerning the 1st rounder, I don't believe Treliving ever intended to be around by the time it mattered. He was taking one last kick at the can with the Flames and didn't care if he had to put all the chips in, because he wasn't going to be here once the bill came in.

Unless he's asking for the moon I think he stays in Winnipeg. They've always wanted him, traded for him early and he's been a solid fit.

It was a a long line of poor errors, starting with the James Neal signing that was a big factor in the cap woes that necessitated moving Monny.
