Lacroix 72 died in Las Vegas on Sunday due to COVID-19 complications.

Wow. This sucks. I think he was good friends with Celine Dion, so that’s why he’s in Vegas.

His son Eric is a scout for the Flames.

A very shrewd GM, seemed like the Avs perennially signed, acquired or drafted all the top available hockey talent for years during his tenure. The number of beatdowns they levelled on the Flames... yikes. Rest in peace, Pierre.

He's mentioned a lot in the Burke book. Seemed like quite the character. He was a big player agent in the 80s before becoming a GM.
