I just started watching a few episodes last night because of this thread. I can't believe I've been missing out....hilarious!

I think I could have success with the "Haaaave you met Ted" line. That is so awesome.

Yeah, I definitely want to try that sometime lol.

We used that for my buddy Dave at my wedding. We dropped it like 5-6 times during the speeches. It was awesome.

Too bad he is one of the most shy people you'd ever meet. He had a good laugh or two from it.

My buddy and I were talking about this show this morning, and I just found out that NPH didn't play Francis on Malcolm in the Middle. Wow, I totally thought that was the same person...

In any case, HIMYM is my favourite sitcom. Not that it has a lot of competition, like Jiri said, but it really is full of awesomeness. NPH is pure gold.

One of my favorite barney moments was early on in the series when Barney was I think trying to get either ted or marshall to do something and sent him images on his phone of Barney doing the "look at me" thing with his hands. Laughed my ass off

Pretty funny.
I could have went without the ted's sister/barney storyline though. Although they said they never went through with it, I think it is (or atleast should be) in Barney's bro code to never mess with a guys sister, nor should one even joke about such a thing.

Anyone catch the Red Deer mention last night? Also, I'm pretty sure Barney called Winnipeg "the worst place on earth".

Overall it was a poor episode but Barney's video resume was worth a chuckle.

Yeah I recently got turned onto this from a friend too.

Just finished watching the first 2 seasons (already seen all current episodes) i will say this is my favorite show on TV absolutely hilarious. Neil Patrick Harris' character makes me want to wear a suit so much lol. I had no idea he was gay that was a shocker (maybe that shoulda went in the random thought thread). Such a good cast for that show everything is LEGEN wait for it... DARY!
