Default How I Met Your Mother

A couple friends turned me onto this show a few weeks ago and I just finished getting caught up with it. Man is this show hilarious! I don't know how it flew under my radar. Neil Patrick Harris is stupidly funny. Any other fans around here?

For me, it's one of those shows that I keep hearing about, but I haven't been able to get around to watching it yet.

Never heard of How I Met Your Mother, whats it like?

I just went through BBT, it was a bit of a tough show to watch. I understood what they said, and they tried so hard to nerd it up that it really got annoying, but I watched it anyways just because of the storyline between the nerd and the hot neighbor. There were a funny lol-parts, but most of their attempts at a funny I sort of rolled my eyes.

Great show. We watch it on DVD only and end up watching an entire season really quickly as it's an addictive show.

Indeed there are some over the top attempts to be funny and pauses for audience laughter which are extremely awkward, but aren't the best parts, atleast for us somewhat nerdy guys/gals, where we can relate to the characters either directly or atleast through our friends?

Do I think this show will be around long? no because it caters to a significantly smaller audience then something like How i met your mother. In general if you don't have a fair amount of nerdiness in you, alot of it's going to go right over your head.

Definitely an awesome show. Top 2 for me with Entourage.
I've been a fan of this show since season 1. Hilarious.

This show is truly awesome. I like The Big Bang Theory as well, but has a lot of stupid humor, as in not funny (try to hard). I mainly only watch it because of Kaley Cuoco (the hot neighbor). She is smokingly perfect!

Bith shows really are great IMO. Neil Patrick Harris cracks me up especially knowing that he is actually gay in real life.. Makes his character funnier i think.

HIMYM and The Office are the two funniest shows on TV right now, in my opinion.

Due to Terminator, prison break, hero's and Chuck all being on Monday and combined with my work out schedule, HIMYM and two and a half men have slide off of my viewing plate.

Last night was classic. Naked Man! Barney and Ted's poses for getting caught naked were awesome. And always go for the Burt Reynolds.

A buddy of mine absolutely loves it and he told me to watch. I've only seen 2 episodes and I'm not quite feeling it. I laugh at parts, and the naked man was pretty good, but I didn't find the characters that entertaining. Aside from NPH of course, that guy is golden.

I bought the season 3 DVDs to watch on my way to Malaysia and got hooked. I caught up with all the previous episodes online and it's such a funny show.

This show is awesome, wish it got more recognition. Things like Slap bet, Swarley, and the Vicky Mendoza Diagonal (the hotter a chick is the crazier she's allowed to be)
