Just watched the trailer to Kevin Smith's latest movie: Tusk. Not sure what to think about it. The premise of psycho dude doing medical experiments has been done. I like the cameos/actors. Smith's daughter and Johnny Depp's daughter are clerks at a Canadian convenience store (which they are going to be having their own movie that starts shooting next week with Johnny Depp in it as well.) I just like Smith's sense of humour. Sometimes it's subtle and sometimes....not.
I think I may wait until it comes out on video. I don't do good with scary movies in theatres. I am excited that he's filming again!
I'm not much of a scary movie guy (I skipped the horror top 5 because I haven't watched enough to have any strong opinion on the genre), but I was really intrigued by that trailer.
It should be interesting and I'm hoping it is better than Red State (not bad, but lack of budget really showed). Lots of in-jokes for Smodcast listeners. Is it still a rumour that Depp is a French police officer in this one?
