The 100 - TV Show

[Coach]

Anyone caught this show? The girlfriend started watching it while I was at work yesterday and, despite some less than awesome acting, it's pretty cool.

A colony made up of 12 conjoined space stations escaped an irradiated Earth and have sent 100 under-age prisoners to the surface a few years before they thought it would be safe to test the planet surface for habitabilty. Kind of a mix between Lost and Oblivion. Have enjoyed it so far (minus some teenage love storylines).

[To Be Quite Honest]

It's a CW show correct? I've avoided it specifically for the teenage love plot points. Each show is like the other and all the characters seem so self involved that I have to stop watching.

Yep, we've watched it on Netflix. A bit cheesy at times, but surprisingly violent at others. Worth watching if you're caught up on everything else.

Yeah not going to lie, the love plots take me out of it. Not because of an aversion to love stories, but the acting, writing and direction used to try and further them is pretty bad. Like thw guy she likes is carrying the body of an almost dead girl while everyone else around them is dieing and the focus is on her being mad about him carrying her. Eyerolling for sure.

Its more annoying because the premise and the parts without that distraction are good.

I didn't realize it was CW as we were on Netflix, but it makes sense now.

It's a terrible show and I LOVE IT.

Seriously, it's like early Smallville. Can't wait for the second season to start.

The first episode threw me. And I didn't watch another till I was sick 5 months later. Then I watched the whole season in 1 day.

It's a dumb premise and yet I like it.

Yeah its oddly entertaining, looking forward to season 2.

Agree with basically everyone else's opinion here.... fairly cheesy, somewhat badly acted, a few horrible plot points that make you think everyone in the show is a moron (at least all the people still on the station trying to figure out how to not run out of air) and yet still oddly compelling. Watching the entire first season on Netflix a bit ago and am waiting for season 2.
