How do you know the exact days? I haven't been able to figure that out..

From the friends list, you click on the friend, then on the 4 hearts in the top left, then on the next heart you are still trying to achieve.

What are the benefits of being lucky friends or best friend? I live in Ontario and will probably never be able to trade with any of you guys, what are the other benefits?

You get bonus damage during raids as well. Possibly more premier balls as well.
And of course, you get 100k xp when you get to best friend level.

Lucky Friends has no advantages other than guaranteed lucky trades.

Best friends has advantages:
Increased damage in raids.
Increased balls for catching after raids
Reduced stardust cost for trading.
Chance of becoming lucky friends.

I haven’t seen them drop from Rocket leaders, but Go Battle League is when you click on the poke ball to bring up Pokédex, Pokémon etc, click on battle and you fight other trainers, you may get the stone as rewards for beating other trainers. You can also get them in the weekly research.

I was invited to do a zapados raid remotely, I forgot who invited me, so I joined and it showed other people in the lobby but when the fight started, it was just me in there. With a couple more players or so we could have had him.
