This is basically ancient news and totally unhelpful, but two Friday nights ago I was at Best Buy ("Party on, Wayne") in Beacon Hill and they had a ton of them. It's the first time I had seen any brick and mortar store with stock.

Beacon Hill was dead at that time of night/week. Might be worth investigating if you're close.

New Zelda DLC is out today, seems the NPCs reactions to the Tingle suit are funny.

This Trial of the Sword looks like it might be a real trial. 45 rooms, can't save, dying sends you back to the start, you start with zip. Got to the 5th room and it's a Stole Talus and I doubt I have any weapons to beat it lol.

From what I understand, you get a save point on the 15th (and presumably 30th) floors.

I think they nerfed temporary hearts, I remember used to be able to cook recipes that would give like 20 extra temporary hearts, now the same gives only 3 temporary

Would have helped with the trials, though mostly I'm dying because I lost my timing for reflecting guardian lasers.

I wonder why Nintendo doesn't care about consumers like me?

I was mildly interested in this thing, but it's fairly tough to find. Not in any stores. I looked whenever I was at a store, but never any stock. Now I am starting not to care. This is the first time I've checked this thread in over a month and see others have had similar luck. I actually forgot it existed haha.

Why can't Nintendo just make enough units for the demand? Their marketing strategy is so silly. It actually makes me not want to buy one on principle.

It's not marketing. The biggest problem right now is a global shortage of NAND memory chips, for which Nintendo competes against phone manufacturers - most notably Apple.

Nintendo is pumping consoles out as fast as they can. I mean, they expect to have sold as many Switches by the end of fiscal 2017 as they did WiiU's in that console's lifetime.

Thanks! Wasn't aware, I thought it was some weird marketing ploy to make their system seem extremely popular due to machines not being available and pump the hype.

Actually I thought I read that on here one time..

That Nintendo conspiracy to keep supply low on purpose.

(I've actually been to the area that the pictures are showing, that's some crazy ####).

http://kotaku.com/japans-nintendo-sw...ell-1796975143

A massive line formed this morning at the Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo’s Akihabara. It was apparently over three thousand people long!

The store only had 250 Nintendo Switch consoles!

On Sunday, there was a similar raffle at the Yodobashi Camera in Osaka’s Umeda, which only had 200 Switch consoles. The line was reportedly 2,100 people long.

Speaking of, the predictions/estimates for first week sales of Splatoon 2 in Japan are around 850,000. On an install base probably in the 1.1 million range. That game might do 1.5 million world wide in its opening weekend.

The preorder price for Mario Odyssey on Amazon went down to 79.99. And the 3DS games (Metroid and Mario and Luigi) went to 49.99. So it appears Nintendo hasn't completely lost their mind on pricing, yet.

Nice. Prime price is $64 for Mario. I think I'll order that now, can't see getting a better price.

Fire Emblem Warriors is back to $79.99 as well. The stuff for 2018 is still showing as $99.99, but hopefully gets adjusted back to reality before release.

Played exactly one round of Splatoon 2 on the joycons before I went out and finally bought a pro controller. I was going to get one anyway, but this game had better be worth the $170 I spent today! lol.
