The situation is still essentially stable, and despite some.of the doom and gloom, there are no obvious, visible immediate breakpoints, and the question of whether Russia or Ukraine will break first remains open, with or without US aid.
Ukraine still has significant local arms production, their own stockpile of old Soviet stuff like T-64s has not run out for example, they still have significant outside support.
(It's also worth noting that Trump is not necessarily going to be against Ukraine just buying materiel from the US.)
That said, air defense was not covered in this video and my understanding is that that specific area is the one where US aid has beem most irreplaceable.)
