When you are inside your blueline, in a tie game in the 3rd period, and it is up to you to exit the zone, you put execution of that fact ahead of making a little one-handed play to try and keep your offensive positioning. It's defense 101. I knew he was going to #### it up, the moment he reached back with one hand. I guarantee the coach had the same thoughts.
Before telling me I should watch some hockey, maybe brush up on defensive responsibilities in your own zone. And maybe give some consideration to where it happened, along with the status of the game at the time.
