When you're being condemned by Hope Solo you have to understand that you've made some bad decisions in your life.

This is probably the first time I’ve ever agreed with anything Hope Solo has said

The Aussies came back but wow did they ever get lucky on that game winning goal. VAR strikes again!

Yeah but the offside player distracted the defender. I thought that was considered offside?

Winning on a own goal that probably shouldn't have counted is about as lucky as it gets.

I appreciate the explanation but still think it was a bad call. Kerr may not have challenged for the ball but if she wasn't in that position there is no way the Brazilian defender attempts to head the ball. Seems like a clear cut interference to me.

Japan got a really soft penalty. Surprised VAR didn't take a second look.

For Africans, Cameroon are pretty organized defensively. They just lack the spark going forward.

Hopefully we win by three and get ahead of the Dutch on goal differential

A militant feminist friend of mine on Facebook posted an article where the gist was only women would be criticized for celebrating after the ninth goal. It was such garbage. Men get called on bad behavior all the time... It must be so difficult to live in the world as a constant victim.
