I’m not even sure, first time for me. I know we’re in a condo on a golf course.
I’ll find out, and update.

I just checked GolfWRX and there is a thread for Palm Springs.

They suggested checking greenskeeper.org for updates.

Hope this helps. Nothing pisses me off more than playing a course just out of overseed.

Kananaskas released their green fees for next year.

http://kananaskisgolf.com/2018-rate-...g-information/

$115 with cart on weekend is really high.

No, it's not.

I feared the green fees would be much, much higher and they would have gotten it.

Good on them for being reasonable.

For other's reference, the green fees on offer for mid-season weekends with a cart

Stewart Creek: $195
Silver Tip: $175
Banff Springs: $250
Canmore: $122
Brewsters: $98
Livingstone: $87

It's going to remain the best value for golf in the area for what you get. The first bit will probably be rough since things are still new and haven't had much time to grow-in, but they've always dealt with that.

Mountain golf for $115 peak times, an hour from the city? It's a steal.

Also huge for parents:

Quote:
During twilight times, each paying adult can bring one Junior to play, at no cost.
With a Junior being 17 and under.

A family of four could play a twilight round for $140 if they walk. That's insane. Even for $220 taking a couple carts that isn't a deal you're getting anywhere to play a course like Kananaskis.

I helped set up the sale below. Lots of clothes, shoes, hats and clubs for sale.

IIRC clothing is 50% off.

Got the fall newsletter from my golf course today.

The good news is that dues have not gone up and stays same at $1050 a year for unlimited golf/7days a week. Still a bargain when I looked at what i'd have to pay at other courses if I was a member.

The bad news is members no longer get unlimited use of the range and balls as part of their dues. It seems that some of our members were loaning their card for the ball machine to friends and family and costing the course money in lost revenue. This year we get 35 buckets of balls as part of our dues with members having to pay for additional buckets after that.

Did you like Athabasca.
We usually do that 2x in 1 day, once a year.
Really like that course.
