I am definitely getting nervous about the lack of any moves by the flames again. Hearing Friedmann on the fan was just as depressing. He basically said he hasn't much in and around Calgary other than maybe some thing to fill the void left by Giordano going to Seattle.
Another year with this group of forwards will be hard....

That's just not true; the majority do not just re-sign with their own teams. For example, last year, keeping in mind that some would have re-signed before the free agency period would have started, the only ones to stay with their team were:
Malcolm Subban (Chicago)
Landon Bow (Dallas)
Phillippe Desrosiers (Florida)

All of Tre's big deals have blind sided everyone including Elliotte IIRC.
I like it better he hasnt heard much from Calgary.

Offer sheet Peterson 10 mill 5 years for 2 firsts a second and a third. No giving up Tkachuk for a top line center, and even if Vancouver matches we get to screw them over.
