I'm avoiding as much public places as possible but no gym is actually the hardest part for me.
Not sure if stressing the body that way is better or worse if you get the virus. I was just about to start back on creatine as well, but will lay off because I think corona messes with the kidneys.

I have some home workouts from my coach. If anyone wants them, DM me. I just did 100 pushups!

How does one go about learning to properly do weights? Is a fitness trainer the only way?

I still need to dive into our shed and see if my wife's old yoga mat and weights are in there. Either way I'm gonna be diving deep into DAREBEE's material this week.

I've been hitting the gym in my office building 2-3 times a week since October, so hoping to keep my lunchtime workout schedule in tact in the coming weeks.

What kind of weight-lifting? For most stuff in the home, youtube will be just fine.

How are the home workouts going for everyone?

I ordered a flat bench, bowflex adjustable dumbbells and a punching bag so getting by pretty well without the gym, just hurting the wallet.

Been eating more than usual for sure though.

Circuits are getting it done for me. Pushups, squats, dips, planks, crunches, burpees, mountain climbers etc. Having a stretch of nice weather so been working out in the backyard.

Far too much weight and poor form is key.

Men's health has a ton of home workout routines right now including cardio and strength training. You don't need to use this site, but I do caution following instruction from those who may not be well versed if you are a relative newbie.

My gym has a home workout set and I've been pretty diligent. I quoted you because I'm tired of pushups in particular! Some of these things are just so repetitive...which is not a comment on the people running the workouts, and more just on our general situation.

But push-ups really feel great. Like I cannot think of an exercise - outside of pull-ups - that makes me actually notice strength gains.

I acted quick and ordered my stuff around 10-12 days ago thankfully. Dumbbells are the new toilet paper.

Oh I agree. I just like a little more variety in general. I've done a lot of push ups over the past couple weeks, and burpees and pull-ups and you know...all the "usual" home workout things.

I have a power rack, olympic bar and set of dumbbells. So, really I can do my own thing. I do like lifting and kind of have no excuse for having a gym membership in the first place. But I was totally regular when the gym was open and I can see myself slipping in what...the 3rd week at home?

Lots of stuff on YouTube. One that helped me get started is the Yoga with Adrienne series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWobp3phsEU

The Nike Training Club app (at least on iOS) has some Yoga stuff as well
