For sure it is ...

Goal scoring levels and average shooting percentage this season in all situations.

Level Avg SH%
0 7.00
10 11.45
30 14.54
40 16.07
50 22.00

The 50 goal gusy shoot 22% in all situations. Zary should be at about 13%.

Part of being a 50 goal guy is games played, 5v5 ice time and PP1 time.

Pastrnak has 1.29 5v5 goals per 60 mins, Zary has 1.27.

Pasta has 33 goals in 51 games (a 50 goal guy)
Zary has 12 goals in 41 games (not a 50 goal guy)

Pasta plays 2.5 5v5 mins more per game than Zary.
Pasta has 16 5v5 goals, Zarry has 11.

Pasta plays top PP1 mins, Zary's played maybe 4 or 5 power plays on PP1.
Pasta has 11 PPGs, Zary has 1.

My argument is you can't just look at goal totals to compare shooting %.

I'm on a teams call, so I don't have time to summarize, but this headline caught my eye:

Not since Mark Jankowski have the Flames been blessed with a rookie so offensively prodigious.
