Meh, someone took the worst of the worst. I have never seen it like that on Xbox not even during the first hour of release. They stated the Xbox is 6 months behind PC development also. here is a better look.
Yah that's a super weak video to put together - PC looked like that during some periods of its early access for god's sake.
Played a few hours of the new v1.0 with friends last night.
Firstly, it's simply amazing to play a game that feels almost finished. The UI is much much much much (much) better, matchmaking, grouping and queing is transparent, and overall the game feels more "solid".
The new map, wall vaulting, and the handful of new guns are great too. We also won a game and almost won a second. The new Nvidia drivers + 1.0 means i can turn everything up to High/Ultra without lag. A+ patch.

I played with shadows, foliage and particles on high, and everything else ultra. Particles in particular i found lagged me indoors of all places.

I've had four top ten finishes in a row now - feeling like I'm getting my groove as a sneaky bastard. I'm too old for the fast twitch pace of School and Pochinki - I'm more of a Lipovka kind of guy.

"Edging", or, hanging around the edge of the circle is only a viable strat on the old island map. The new desert map has way fewer vehicles and you will likely die if you don't migrate towards each circle's centre as the match progresses.
I've played 3 games on the Xbox so far, first game I never got a weapon (didn't know how) and was out around 65. Second game, got a mediocre weapon (a crossbow) and no kills but hit 9. Third game, I learned how to handle dropping in, got a great cache of weapons, bandages and painkillers, and lasted to 5 with 2 kills.
I find a lot of the game is just planning how to get to the shrinking circle without overly exposing yourself. And there has to be quite a bit of luck in weapon finds, I got the M4A1 in the third game and taking those 2 players out was easier than I expected.
This game has some technical hurdles to clear, but its a lot of fun.

Practice and a major problem in the game is cheaters and teaming, I don't understand the point but I was playing a single player game and was watching this guy while I was hiding around a corner getting ready to ambush him when he comes out he heads for this car and stops for a second so I pop out from behind this wall and to my surprise there are two of them there talking in chinese i sprayed them and killed one but the other guy booked it.
Just got PUBG for PC, but pretty sure I'll get murdered quickly. Any good youtube videos I can watch on the game, to ensuresure I am not a total noob? Something with some basic strategy and gameplay suggestions, etc?
Any CP squads out there? I usually play the battlefield games, but no one in my PC squad is into PUBG for some reason...
