Deadspace 2
Got it 2 days ago.
Better than Uncharted 2 (cept the multiplayer isn't as good).
Go buy ASAP!!!!
Don't take my word for it?
Metacriting at a NINTY ONE right now...

I am replaying Dead Space 1 right now. Never done this before, or at least since I was 9.

Yeah if you liked the first one, you'll like the second one.
It's a little more combat oriented (so far, I'm only in chapter 3), and man does it ever set the mood/environment well.
Plus I'm finding it quite challenging.

Where did you get it two days ago? I've been excited for this game for a year.
Reminder to PS3 owners that the limited edition has a free copy of Dead Space: Extraction included.

Buy it from Best Buy because they give you $5 in Reward Zone credits (400 points) provided you have a Reward Zone account (free). If you do have a membership then you should also pre-order from them because they give you $10 in credits when you pre-order. So for Dead Space 2 you could have got $15 in Best Buy store credit which isn't bad.

Working for EA has its benefits...

Mine's been shipped. Should hopefully arrive Friday.
Chemgear, Activision is the source of all that is wrong with video games nowadays. Followed closely by Nintendo.

Holy mother of crap...I'm finding this one to be way more difficult and sadistic then the first one.

Playing it via "Let's Play" videos in HD on Youtube. Better than the real thing

Played the demo yesterday (never played the first one), wow, this game is intense. Going to buy Dead Space 1 tomorrow, beat it during the week, then get Dead Space 2 next weekend.

Yeah anyone who hasn't played the first one is really missing out.
I'm playing on the 2nd hardest difficulty and there are points that I have to play over close to 10 times because I keep dieing... for some reason this game doesn't get me that frustrated though, it's just very well done and when you finally get by a point that's been kicking your ass for the past 20 minutes, it's just damn satisfying.
This may be my favorite console game.

Finally beat this beast.
Think I will play through one more time, and then attempt the "Hardcore" mode.
Also, small spoiler in white font below....
The scene where you put the needle in his eye was one of the most squeamish, gross out moments I have ever played in a game

All you Deadspace pros, what's a good difficulty to use for Deadspace 1 (PC)?

I don't know, but use a gamepad as it's a poor console port and the mouse acceleration is buggered and tied to analog stick inputs.
