Sorry I meant sharp as in no trails, i.e. all stars show up as points. I think I used sharp cause bc-chris referred to the trails as blur.

I got up real early a month or so ago and headed to a small town east of Red Deer where my Dad is from. I thought I'd get some early morning shots for him for Father's Day. I ended up with a few similar to yours here.

Had to go to Miami yesterday and drove up South Beach on the way back. Don’t mean to be a prude but that restaurant sign is almost as attractive as
som crappy graffiti would be.

This one is near Dorothy Ghost Town south of Drumheller. I am a bit fascinated with shooting ghost towns. There is something deeply sad and serene there at the same time. Weird feeling.

We did a spur of the moment zip trip out to Banff last night. Pretty windy and a bit too much cloud for pics, but really, no bad evenings ever here.

First time growing legal weed. I no longer smoke it, but my wife finds it helps her for several health issues she has. A decent little crop is gonna come out of this, only 3 plants but I'm thinking I'll get at least an oz per plant.

This isn't my photo - Mrs Puppet took it over the weekend. It's spectacular:

Noob question here but how do I actually insert a photo? The photo icon wants me to point to a URL but I don't have a website. I have some cool ones that may be interesting to share.

You need to upload them first to a photo hosting site like Flickr, Google Photos, etc. Then you can copy and insert the photos url here to post.

Mrs. Yooh and I have become grandparents two weeks ago. Last night was our grandson's first Flames' win.

Typically my wife and I go away for a week around the time of our anniversary, the last few years this has meant hoping on a plane and staying in packed hotels... but as with everyone else this year, COVID changed our plans.

Not wanting to get onto a plane, or risk crowded tourist spots we booked a private home with a kitchen in a super rural location. Away from crowds, away from traffic, even campgrounds in the mountains didn't make the cut.

We ended up in the secluded (and deadly quite) community of Rosebud for a few nights... it was the right decision.

What better day than the first one of fall to check out Larch and Aspen colors in Kananskis.

From Ptarmigan Cirque trail.

I thought this one deserved the Polaroid Instamatic kind of look. Reminds me of pictures as a kid.

The avalanche chutes on your right heading south between Fortress and Smith-Dorrien Trail. The light wasn't so great for the shot, so this was the best I got. The chutes looked amazing filled in bright yellow. Great contrast with the evergreens.

I got there shortly after 8 or so and I think I got the last parking spot in the lot, no cars on highway yet. Looked like kind of a split of groups going up either side of highway, so Ptarmigan was quiet going up, never passed a soul. On way down it was a different story. I was passing people between every switchback on trail. By 1:30 it looked like a typical Saturday afternoon with dozens and dozens of vehicles lining both sides of highway. Definitely go early.

Spent a Sunday afternoon at SunMaze near Bowden with a 34-yr old old manual Leica 35-70/3.5 on an A7r3 body. Noon light was a bit harsh, but colours turned out decent.
