Funny story. I’ve worn those pads (and the helmet) in a pond hockey game.
Pretty sure he left them at Theo Fleurys house waaaaaaaay back in the 90’s when Theo used to do his Christmas Pond hockey games. I believe Rolosons chest protector was the other piece of equipment in the house.

Remembering how that guy treated kids (my buddies and I) at the outdoor rink in Sandstone is reason enough to buy those pads to burn them haha. The guy, especially for an NHLer, had zero respect for the rules of outdoor/pond hockey.
