Holy crap. No he is not. He is arguably even more of a liability than Kulak or Wotherspoon. And that is not acceptable given he's supposed to be the more polished player.

I mean Kulak & Wotherspoon may be total crap too ultimately, but I'd rather give them the rope to show that rather than give Bartkowski any more chance to show he can be anything because all Bart does is show that he's nothing but hot stinking garbage.

I think people are judging these guys way too harshly.

Kylington really did look the best of the bunch.

I'm not judging Bartkowski too harshly. He deserves to be crapped on because he is truly awful and is not an NHL calibre in any way, shape or form.

He literally makes at least 1 fatal mistake or brutal giveaway pretty much every game he's played in with this team and he's been IMO the worst player overall on the ice throughout the preseason.

He is a flat out supreme liability many times he's out there on the ice.

100% Agreed. I cringe every time he is on the ice.

I put this in another thread, but what are the odds that BT goes after one of Vegas's extra D? Jon Merrill or Nate Schmidt would be better than the guys that we are auditioning.

I wouldn't be surprised.

Vegas has 11 NHL D:
Jason Garrison,
Luca Sbisa,
Clayton Stoner,
Nate Schmidt,
Brayden McNabb,
Jon Merrill,
Colin Miller,
Deryk Engelland,
Shea Theodore,
Griffin Reinhart,
and Brad Hunt.

I believe Colin Miller's name has been mentioned a lot in trade rumours.

Jon Merrill is a pretty decent bottom-pairing defenseman who has played in the top 4 with New Jersey previously. I imagine he'd be the most likely target, seeing as how he plays the left side.

Yeah, Colin Miller shoots right.

Schmidt, McNabb, and Merrill all shoot L.

I would be very surprised if Treliving doesn't sign a or trade for a vet before season starts. Could be a forward though.

This #6D is becoming a way bigger problem than I thought it would be.

Kylington got sent down.
Andersson isn't going to get to play on the left side.
Kulak, Bartkowski, Wotherpoon don't deserve to be on the NHL roster unless in press-box.

I completely forgot that Vegas was an option...and it certainly seems like a good one.

It's been reported that Franson to the Hawks is all but official and should be done as soon as Hossa goes on LTIR. Polak is terrible.

Hey, I hear Adam Pardy is available!

Is there any way to get Engelland back?

I get the feeling that Vegas likes McNabb, but Merrill or Schmidt for Lazar and Wotherspoon would make me happy. While Lazar still has value to a building team.
