I would buy the same model for both if you wanted to place them side by side or in close proximity.

The same model makes sense. It takes some config to make the logitech remote to turn them on individually. Getting two different PVR will solve this problem and if you don't need sound coming out from the two TV, that will be no big deal.

Somehow, I thing you just need to manually turn the TV on and off from the front panel.

Ya it isn't really a deal breaker just always would look cool if you could do it by remote. Since I would have to adjust the wall mount arm for positioning anyways it makes sense just to push the on button at same time

Could not agree more!! Just recently built a new house and had to make sure Control 4 was in the house. I used all the Logitech remotes before thinking that they were great, but after Control 4 I would never use anything else.

Nothing better than coming home from work, punching the code in the door and having the TV come on to TSN.

I can think of countless situations where that would be a pain in the arse rather than a benefit.

"S--t, left my phone on the counter." *punches in code*
*TV turns on*

Now you have to turn the thing off again.

I'm in the market for a new main tv for my living room.

My viewing distance is about 10 feet and can only go about 46" due to how my living area is set up.

I have an old 40" Samsung that served me well over the past 5 years.

I have my eye on this Samsung 46" at Future Shop.

Thoughts??

Save your money, that's a LOT of coin for a 46", and all you're paying for is the fact that it's an 8-series Sammy. The 7-series is a way better deal, and you'll struggle to really find a meaningful difference between the two sets, unless you actually intend on using the built-in webcam, or the Bluetooth.

Samsung 46" 1080p 240hz 3D LED Smart TV - 7-series - Bezel-less. $1,699

Samsung 46" 1080p 120hz 3D LED Smart TV - Nearless bezel-less, upper-end 6-series. $1,299

Samsung 46" 1080p 120hz 3D LED Smart TV - Slightly larger bezel, but still not bad. Mid-range 6-series. $1,299

Where is best place to get speaker wire in town. Need about 500 feet and what gauge is best.

Also what is best technique for extending speaker runs I don't have any soldering skills and the people who put in ceiling speakers left the run way to short and it would be near impossible to pull new cable

Soldering isn't too hard, but you could also just twist them together with a marette. It's not ideal, but this is for your rear in-ceiling speakers, so it's probably not as big a deal. Try it first, worst case scenario you may have to just run some additional cables... It's strange that they didn't run it in such a way it could be pulled out. If it could you can just attach the new cable to the old cable when you pull it out.

I buy most of my cable from Monoprice or blue jeans cables.

They didn't run it thru a conduit?

< 50 ft run = 16ga.
> 50 ft run = 14ga.

Solder them. Practice on some scrap wire.

Also, you're going to get hosed buying wire in town.

Of course they didn't. These people stapled all cables down every 4 feet like electrical. The in ceiling speakers were built into the roof then ceiling was put up after it so I can't even take them down. Luckily the speakers work just fine. It is only one wire I need to extend I found some slack in the other one.

It was a major pain to run my hdmi/ethernet cords to the projector because they stapled everything down

I normally buy from Monoprice as well but their shipping is getting ######ed. Any Canadian offerings for bulk speaker wire?

Even with Monoprice's increased shipping costs, you'll still end up paying less than what you'd find it for locally. Unless it's something I need ASAP, Monoprice still makes the most sense... for me, anyway.

Looks like I will just put through my huge order and combine all the shipping.

$600 dollars later I should have everything I need now!

What is best height for in wall speaker. Head level while sitting in chairs?

Center channel has to be under pj screen which is about 28 inches from floor to top of speaker

Ear height is roughly 48 inches from ground do I keep them this height in wall or keep them In line with center channel
