If you hate that Tyreek is in the league, blame Goodell and the owners. They're the ones who are willing to tolerate anything short of guys being in prison if the talent warrants it. The M####### who threw the beer deserves to be charged and banned for life.

Interesting thing is despite the last minute heroics, Rodgers is having a subpar year. I'm sure the injury and the lack of practice time is an issue, but he is missing a lot of open receivers and you just normally don't see Rodgers play like that.

I still think McCarthy is a good coach but I think he is losing his grip on the team. He's given Rodgers too much freedom and now that he is trying to reign him in Rodgers is resisting and it's causing friction. Doesn't help that their D still looks like a mess and they've let 3 pro bowl talents go off that D, 1 of which they stubbornly played out of position before letting him go. Doesn't speak well of your staff so not surprising to hear reports that Rodgers or players may not be happy with McCarthy.

I like him, but it's time for a new voice. Unfortunately feels like a bit of a missed opportunity with some of the available coaches last year. This year's crop seems less inspiring.

Just spitballing here...but i wonder if Gutekunst wouldn't try and go after Josh McDaniels IF a change does take place.

Or he may want a defensive minded guy to take the reigns and just find a competent OC who will play to Rodgers strengths and seriously incorporate a ground game to open up the passing areas.

I had thought about McDaniels but not sure how an organization like the Packers would feel about how he treated the Colts last year or is McDaniels even interested? I can see the fit and if they did go away from McCarthy I would prefer the idea of a head coach with an background in offense as opposed to D but McDaniels has some question marks.

Any organization that goes after McDaniels deserves exactly what's coming to them.

Been offered a free ticket and hotel to the Bengels vs Chiefs game on Sunday.. Think I should bite the bullet on a $650 flight to go down and see it?

Arrowhead always been on the bucket list.

And if the ticket says Bengels, that is a fake ticket.

If you get spooked at the last minute I'll be happy to stand in for you.

I'm going to be in LA in December and plan to watch the Bengals play the Chargers. I'll enjoy seeing an NFL game in a CFL stadium.

I was mostly talking about the way the guy does business (e.g. the total dick move he pulled on the Colts), but since you want to be a snarky dink about things, you're right, 11-17 as a head coach is some hall of fame level stuff. The years he was outside of New England his offenses ranked 20th, 19th, and 32nd in points scored. Meanwhile the Pats ranked 6th, 1st, and 3rd. And it's not like the league has a laundry list of failed head coaches who were coordinators for the Patriots or anything.

It's almost as if working with a two GOATs can help to pad one's resume.

But, please, do go on about what McDaniels has achieved on an individual level and his sterling resume.

The Cardinals are a really lousy team. I feel bad for Fitzgerald having to endure this kind of season.

I wouldn't hire McDaniels and I expect more than a few teams will never consider him after leaving the Colts high and dry. He's overrated as an OC and I don't think he's head coach material as it's hard to get players to buy in when they know the head coach is a flake.

Really they should do the right thing and cut him so he can go chase that ring. What a tragic end to his career it would be to go out with a 1-15 team.

I don't think Fitz wants to play anywhere else. I think if he did he'd already be a Viking.
