I had to Google who the host city was. Totally slipped my radar. Assumed it had been cancelled.
Good for Dube though. Guess he's our Captain Canada.

Well good for him. Looks like we're not exactly sending the A team, although we should be able to beat Emilio Pettersen and Norway.
Likelihood of Tkachuk and Gaudreau playing for US is probably zero.
Wonder if any of our Swedes decide to go?

Mangiapane is more worthy of an invite, IMO.

Hockey Canada operates differently. Preference goes to TC players. Don't forget he Captained TC in the WJC. They know him.

Good. All the young players should go.
Dube, Valimaki, Kylington, Andersson, Tkachuk etc

Wouldn't hold it against anyone for declining this year. That tournament would really suck if you're just hanging out alone in a hotel room.

If it's safe to travel over there, I would encourage the younger players to go. Not a lot of hockey was played this year. It would be a good experience.

Good for them. This will definitely help in getting me to watch a few games. Hopefully they play well and help Canada have a good showing.
