How about that Chatwood hey?
Two games in a row he comes on in late inning high leverage against the most dangerous Braves hitters and mows them down like they're nothing. Wow

I also love how he's hit 4 batters in his last 2 starts. Talk about intimidation. If I don't hit you, I'm going to strike you out.

I enjoyed that game. Ryu is so crafty. I really hope his craftwork rubs off on the young pitchers in the system. It's one thing to throw smoke, but it's another to think the game the way he does. That only comes from experience.
Chatwood is spitting hot fire. Make him the closer until he falters. He was basically the closer tonight going after the heart of the Braves lineup.
"Hey Chatwood, why are you the new closer?"

After all the #### talk on Shatkins, they've ended up being one of the best front offices in sports in general.

They have a team that despite the injuries and tough schedule looks ready to make noise right now, if this roster ever gets healthy they will certainly be a force.
On top of that they have amazing financial flexibility moving forward, and what looks to be a top 10 or even top 5 farm system to sustain what could be a very long contention window.
Exciting as hell.

So well said. My family is wondering why I have completed tuned out the Flames for weeks now and are watching Jays games obsessively so early in their season.
So much to like now and in the future the more you follow this org.
I wish I could say the same for the Flames. But a cold hard reality has hit us all this season in that regard. Thought we were much better org with a solid core of players but clearly it was just rose colored glasses as homer Flames fans.
Thank you Jays for distracting us at this time when we needed it to lessen the sting.

The scary thing about the Jays is that this is a free year. This is not the "competitive" year. That's next season when there's more starting pitching on the market to address that issue/ the expected graduation of some other young arms.

So freaking glad I’ve been enjoying this season while the Flames have ultimately let us down.
Happy that Teoscar had a multi HR night. He’s starting to heat up!

They did basically what most front offices are afraid to do. Completely gut the entirety of a very popular core of players and honestly didn’t give two ####s about what people thought about the players they acquired in that process, and replaced a popular manager with a rookie MLB manager. Definitely some questionable moves along the way but there a lot to be excited about right now.
