This goddamned team.

If this is true, blow it up and get rid of these losers.

Probably the same players that complained about Hartley making Sven Baertschi cry.

Figure out who the softest players on the team are and I think those are the ones likely complaining. Ship them out.

I mean making Sven cry is kinda over the line.
That stuff has no place in the game. At least in my view.

I wonder what he said to him. Probably something like "Lots of Swiss watches are just overpriced cases with Chinese made movements in them".

I honestly dont know how this team will generate a scoring chance without JG on the team.

No need to try to tank - If you can't score in today's NHL and have a lethal PP you will be terrible - tanking or not
Yep 100%.

There use to be this one website that I can’t remember what it is, but it use to show wins in an individual players game log and I remember seeing the team’s winning streaks coinciding with Gaudreau’s scoring streaks. In other words, where Gaudreau went, this team went. Very similar to the Iggy era. Guess we didn’t learn from our mistakes and basically created the same one line team that relies on one winger to carry the team past the first round.

Gaudreau’s percentage of his team’s goals also spoke volumes to how much reliance there was on #13. Although this was in years past, not sure what the numbers will say in recent seasons.

I cried once at work. A co-worker said the Jews were behind 9/11. That guy was a true dickhead.

Didn't he call him straight up lazy or said he never saw a lazier player in the neutral zone and backed it up with video infront of everyone?

This is no surprise. They hated Hartley and hated peters by the 2nd year. The only coaches these guys have liked has been “player” coaches like Gully and Ward. Send them packing

Shane O'Brien has said that Hartley went after Baertschi on a personal level and really bullied him about something that crossed the line.

So whatever supposedly happened where CP wasn’t behind closed doors, as far as Hartley goes, is well enough known that we can pass judgment

Anything that Treliving does behind closed doors is something we just can’t ever know, can never appreciate the complexity or nuance, can’t judge, and should we consider it, must err on the side giving him the benefit of the doubt

It's something in the pizza.

Or it shows that Gaudreau has trouble scoring in important, tightly-contested games.

He wouldn’t have as much trouble if his team had a player or two who was better than he is.

Realistically they're going to miss the playoffs on a semi-regular basis even without a rebuild. Might as well suck it up and build for longer term success.

They aren't going to rebuild with Sutter around.

They will retool and there will be a big move in the core.

I really have no idea what they will do. Eichel is a pipe dream. Plus I'm not sure Darryl wants to teach another centre how to play a 200 foot game.

I feel like Tkachuk will get moved before Gaudreau. Something isn't right in that locker room. I've never seen another player come to Tkachuk's defense on the ice. If you can, remind me of it. You see Tkachuk defending his teammates all the time but no one has his back. Tkachuk seems to be buddies with Gaudreau but the the rest of his best buds are gone now (Bennett and Rittich).

You see the Capitals defending Wilson ALL the time despite the things he does. It's weird that Tkachuk always has to fight his own battles.

I’ve noticed the same thing. I like Tkachuk and don’t really want him traded. I do however have a feeling he might ask for a trade at end of season.

Honestly it seemed like Tkachuk was the one guy mixing it up with opponents, getting into tough areas, and scoring important goals. His teammates not coming to his back says more about his teammates and their lack of competitive effort than it does about Tkachuk. I cannot wait until this pathetic core is disbanded forever.
