Sweet! Great AHL presence who fit in nearly seamlessly at the NHL level, save for a couple gaffes.

If Frolik and Hathaway both leave, not out of the question he starts season on the 23 man roster.

Quine made 700/400k on his two-way deal last year. I think we can probably expect the NHL number to go up to around 800k on this deal. Don't think the AHL number changes much if at all

Great depth piece to have, can skate, works hard, doesn't hurt you at either end of the ice, can play wing or center.

He's a good 13/14th man option.

His qualifying offer would have been for $735,000.

The CBA says that QO's can't be signed before July 1, but I'm not sure what would stop them from signing it early since the player and team are free to negotiate during this time.

I like Quine. He looked very good last year although a glaring mistake lead to a goal sucked.

I think he can do more for the team next year. He may get a lot of time if as mentioned Frolik and Hathaway are gone.

Solid depth guy, expect he'll get more NHL games this season.

Don’t think those two affect Quine, if anything we will see more of Dube, Mangi, Neal, and Czarnik stepping up.

Still have hope that Neal can turn things around. Last season was hugely uncharacteristic.

Very solid AHL numbers. Also produced nicely in his short time with the Flames. I wouldn't mind fitting him on the NHL roster this year and giving him more of a shot.

His numbers suggest he's too good for the AHL, no?

Really liked what he showed last year, glad to have him back. I really don't think it's ridiculous to suggest he spends more time with the NHL team than not

I don't see an updated contract on that page. I see a speculative contract, which lists his NHL salary at $735k (his QO $$) and no AHL salary. That can't be right, for obvious reasons.
