Oh, and everyone who drives an Explorer is a narc.
White Explorers on the highway piss me off.

Ha. Says the guy who drives a minivan.

I make no arguments that minivans are the single most practical vehicle ever invented.

They are also the single most lamest vehicle ever invented. The gold standard for non cool dads.

No way. Vans say I don’t care what you think, this is the best vehicle for the purpose. I’ll take the dad who’s willing to sacrifice some points in the ‘how tall is your useless vehicle’ contest so that he can fit his family and all their ####. And, you just know your woman is secretly stoked as #### when she sees you detailing that third row.. Bonus points if they aren’t dropping $800/month on it, and are instead putting that money into something that actually matters...like a lowrider.

I drive a Ridgeline, so basically the minivan of pickups. You got me there.

And if you think I’m not lobbying the wife hard for a new Sienna hybrid instead of the E-Class she really wants, you’re incorrect.

I haven’t been cool my entire life - it’d be silly to try and start now.

I assume silver means these, which look like crap, especially on your super expensive Tesla.

I agree that is a horrible look on a new vehicle. If you can afford north of $50k for a car at the very least spend another $1k on aluminum winter wheels as this look is like spending a million $ on a house in a fancy area and parking junkyard vehicles in the driveway.

So I’m looking online for a Harrington jacket, and I come across this:

https://ca.burberry.com/icon-stripe-...cket-p80385781

I was vaguely aware of Burberry as a stylish, up-scale brand. But I had no idea people pay over $1,500 for a light spring jacket. Surely the market for clothes at this price is vanishingly small. How many men in Calgary have ever spent more than $300 for a light casual jacket? Or paid $1,000 for a hoodie? Is it even 1 per cent?

And Burberry has a store in Chinook. What does a day at that store look like? 20 or so people browsing over the course of a day, half them gaping in astonishment at the prices, and maybe 2 or 3 items purchased? Who works there, what are their qualifications, and how much do they earn compared to their counterparts at Eddie Bauer?

I'm guessing that the selling strategy of Burberry is that it allows you to date ten years out of your reasonable age range. If you are not good looking enough to be an actor, or talented enough to be a musician, buy Burberry. The girls will be cold hearted, but beautiful! Good luck, love Burberry.

Why do people keep the sticker on the visors of their baseball hats? It legitimately looks dumb, like as bad as if they forgot to take the tags and stickers off of their pants.

I actually kind of respect the irony of throwing steelies on a Tesla. I'm down for this look.

I'm not a fan of exposing the hub spigots to all the road salt the city now uses. In 3 years they will be a mass of rust and steel.

I think mods should add in a forum filter to replace the word "steelies" with something dumb/silly.

I'm watching my skip driver on the app as he drives to my place. His name is Rockwell.

That sounds like a Flintstone name.

He wasn't paranoid, someone was watching him.

Ask him if his last name is Norman.
