Loved her in Bachelor Party, Witchboard, and the Whitesnake videos. 59 is way too young.

Every teenage boy in the 80's will very quickly remember her. She took a pretty by the numbers hair metal band, and elevated it by her video appearance. She did follow it up with some acting in Bachelor Party, which she was surprisingly good with a scenery chewing Tom Hanks (remember him). Its sad that it sounds like she had really fallen hard into addiction in the last part of her life. 59 is really too young to die.

Because I was barely a kid, I only remember her as the family-friendly co-host of America's Funniest People with Dave Coulier.

Out of the Cellar and Invasion or Your Privacy were two of the best 80's metal albums so I wouldn't call Ratt by the numbers as they were more metal than pop metal bands like Bon Jovi, Poison, Warrant, etc. Sad story though as she was a music video icon of the 80's.

Kirk: [Talking to each other privately] Our fans are loyal die hard fans are very life like and expect to see certain things and they want to give them what they want and if we deviate from that because one disappointed fan can turn to two four to eight and on and on, and then we're playing to a half empty hall so while I understand you want to do "your own thing", and I admire it in some small way, if you want to stay with Steel Dragon, you're going to have to reconcile with yourself to do the "Steel Dragon" thing", and the "Steel Dragon" thing" is A.C. and I write the songs, and you sing the songs we write, are we clear?
