Tony Hawk was the first skater to land a 720 in competition. Now Guy Khury is the first to land a 1080 in competition and Tony Hawk was there to witness it. Pure awesome.

Same with Tony Hawk's 900. He had already lost the competition, he was just attempting to be the first person to land it. Took him several tries as well before he stuck it

He was also the first person to do it on vert too (Guy), just took another year to get it down in competition.
