Assuming they notify everyone right away, and assuming that those notifications all go out at the same time. Depending on how many people have signed up to receive a notification, sending that many emails can take time. I guess I could create an email address aaaaaagimmeanexus4@gmail.com

Any word on when/if Canadian carriers are going to get the Nexus 4?

why would you want to wait? you'll end up likely paying at least $150-$200 more for the Nexus 4 from a carrier, and it will be locked. if you have a phone from the last generation (like a Galaxy SII) you could probably sell it on kijiji, then buy the Nexus 4 outright and pay less than doing a contract upgrade from a carrier

Because, I can't afford to get a phone for $350 right now?

edit: To clarify, I am considering my options. If it really is $100-$150 with contract, then there are many other phones that are better options, but considering Wind has a $500 tab, I doubt that will be the case.

Just took a gander here and there and still nothing? Somewhat disappointing but hopefully I'll wakeup to the news of the chaos ensuing afterwards I go to bed.

Lol, they're selling a bumper as the only accessory. Yeah, cover the only part of the phone that isn't glass...

Sold out in all of Europe as well. Google needs to manage supply a lot better. Don't they even remember the whole Nexus 7 mess?

Counting on the email notification to work so I can pull the trigger as soon as its released. Don't have time to hover at a computer all day.

I hate putting any covers on my phones, never have but I think I'll get that bumper. It should be a little bit effective (hopefully?) since phones usually land on the sides and it should absorb some of the shock.

While we wait, for those Galaxy Nexus owners the OTA for 4.2 is being rolled out.

If you haven't considered it, I would recommend replacing the battery yourself on the 3GS.

My 3GS was lasting about 20 minutes when I replaced the battery. Rather than paying for an Apple replacement, or getting rid of it, I bought a kit from here: http://www.iphonebatteryrepair.com/i...p/bat-1000.htm

I use it now as an extra 16gb iPod, and the battery is as good as the original one as far as I can tell. Took me just under an hour to replace the battery.
