Not even that unless they've relocated to Central London?

One Hotspur way?
Got the road and the tube name confused i think, its been awhile
Either way, its silly to say they are bigger, they are comfortably 6th of the big 6 with worldwide reach and stuff like that, they have made inroads the last 10 or so years but its still miles off chelsea and arsenal, and everyone else is a galaxy away from united

That being said, i dono how that matters much anymore
Id love if poch stayed, i cant see united paying for him though is the big thing, him and joses buyout would be near 60m.
Plus just from pochs view, i think he ends up at madrid in a few years anyway, and this summer is not the year he is likely to go, it could happen for sure, but it will be the first full season in the new stadium, the naming rights for the stadium will come in and spending will go up a level
Most importantly, he has full control of his squad right now, that wont happen at United, especially if they want a DoF
If he does go though, give me eddie howe all day

So where does Mourinho land as a manager? You'd have to imagine that his sparkling results with United could limit his future opportunities.
He could end up back at Real. I mean, if you're going to get embarrassed on a weekly basis you might as well do it with Mourinho. He knows his way around.

If you ever needed to know what a mess Manchester United have made of replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, perhaps we can start with the tragicomedy that there are still 194 days before the six-year contract handed to David Moyes was supposed to lapse......

Speaking of terrible omens for Spurs fans, they'd better find some soon or we all know someone who has plenty.

pretty happy with Solskjaer/Phelan taking over. Those two know the club very well and are absolutely adored by the fans, they will be backed 100 percent. The season is ruined anyway and nobody will blame them for not getting top 4 at this point. As long as they bring back positivity and better football I'll be happy.

Its actually going to be an interesting season for you going forward, I'm pretty happy that we got 3 points off United already because currently they're going to have nothing to lose.
All the players basically start from scratch under the new caretaker-managers and they can do whatever they want, its effectively a season thats a write-off with both players and managers playing loose.
It could be fun for you. It will be more fun that if Mourinho had stayed.
Now the real question is: Does this mean that Fellaini plays more or less?

Agree. International football seems to suit him better.
He's not building grudges with players through the day to day relationships. Parking the bus is widely accepted and players are more willing to do it internationally. And he's been able to get great results in short spurts - which is what international football is all about.
And I'm intrigued to see United play after this move.
Guys that came into United (or who were already there) only to see things never quite work out under Jose should be motivated to prove a point for the rest of the season. Will be interesting to see what type of play they get out of guys like Lukaku, Pogba, Mata, Shaw, Darmian, Bailly, Lindelof, Sanchez, Martial etc.

Dele Alli just got drilled in the head with a bottle....which is probably the most exciting thing that's happened in the Caribou Cup this year.

I commented just a few days ago that it looks like Pogba is on his way out... I think he's the one to really watch, how does he react?

FWIW Solskjaer coached him at the Reserves back then and is generally thought to fancy offensive football (obviously). So we'll see, but in theory this should be a good move for Pogba.

Either way, the Jose Mourinho 3-Year Curse lives on.

Also, how does Woodward react? Hopefully someone like Carrick can give a neutral view on whether it was a personality clash with Mourinho or an ego ran amok.
From that link in my last post.

Ferguson once said the minute a player started to challenge the manager’s authority, that was the time to tell that player goodbye. Not under this regime, though.
When Mourinho’s relationship with Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial broke down, it was Woodward who decided they were long-term assets who could outlast the manager and, as such, should be kept on.
|
Regardless of who the next manager is power needs to be taken back. And in a way you could argue that was what Mourinho was trying to do by sitting Pogba. Any resistance to the taking back of power ... get rid of them.

Hadnt thought of it that way, all the, deserved i would say, negative mou coverage overshadowed that but it is right
Whomever comes in, i hope and expect, especially someone like ole who would have their respect, that whatever happened with jose can be put in the past, but going forward that kind of attutide wont be tolerated, and if it leads to a few people leaving they wouldnt have what it takes anyway

Oles first interviews and press conference have been nothing but a breath of fresh air. All smiles, talking up the quality of the squad, talking about giving the players a chance to express themselves and have fun playing attacking football. He's an anti-Mourinho, basically.
If players don't bust their asses for this man they are dead to me.
