All I ask from this game is that the Flames escape with no more injuries. Wild are a dirty team and will no doubt try to hack and slash their way to a win. I hope Johnny is wearing extra padding on his gloves today.
Oh, and 2 points would be great, please and thank you. Gotta keep our lead over the Sharks, Ducks, and... ugh, the Oilers (puke).

No doubt. It's amazing how the "weakest division in the league" suddenly holds both wild card spots in the west.

The Staal slash, the Dumba hit, and the Koivu incident.
I'm slowly starting to build a legitimate dislike for the Minnesota Wild. Beat the hell out of them this morning, Flames.

Viasat who own broadcast rights in sweden and finland has live broadcast of the game and with finnish or swedish commentator.
Btw guy who does the finnish language broadcast, said before the season that James Neal drinks so much beer on road, thats why he scored so few goals last season.
He said that he has source on las vegas team, it isin't hard to guess that the source is Erik Haula.

I actually thought first the game was going to be very scrappy and nasty. But the more I think about, the more I change my mind. Refs are on high alert, because of what happened in the previous game and probably will break all scraps immediately. Players are going to be more cautious and worried about penalties and suspensions due to retaliations. It's a really early morning game. If anything, I'd bet it's going to be slow and boring.

Unbelievable, the earliest start of a Flames game in the UK all season and I am out for a Christmas party. Oh well, watch the recording after a few beers when I get in, start time will be about the same as normal (AM)

Just got an alert on my pool app that Zucker is DTD. Big loss for Minny if true.

Scratching Czarnik to dress Prout as 7D? Revenge against Dumba?

Forgot MIN might want vengeance of their own against Gio. Dressing Prout as #7 makes some sense in that case. Could be an intense game.

Yep, the only afternoon game and they can't even make it a nationally televised game. What a bunch of goofs.

It seems these days, the always anticipated "rematch" after an intense game is always underwhelming. After the fireworks against the Oilers, the rematch was an aweful game.
I wonder if the teams get warnings from the league, or its just the natural progression of the league.

But that game was awful because that is now how the Oilers play for Hitchcock. All their games look like that.

I can't, he will be grumpy. Then we will all face the wrath of the frog and if he can influence the outcome of a hockey game just imagine what he can do to all of our heads.
