Great. You still have no perspective on what good trades look like.

I think your inferiority complex is showing honestly. You're imagining things for some reason.
for the 3rd or 4th time the post of mine someone quoted during the third period for some reason was from Saturday

I didn't start this stuff tonight. You also joined in March you have no say on posters that have disappeared for long stretches when their teams sucked. Unless of course you are a formerly banned poster lol.

Anyway, glad the Preds won...Canucks are a joke and should be done. Hey at least they got more than 12 shots.

I think it’s ok for me to vent when ex flames who wanted out of town do well for a rival teams I hate. It doesn’t always need to be just about what’s the most logical thing to say. It’s supposed to be fun on here isn’t it? or am I wrong about that too.

LOL, so you make admittedly illogical statements and think no one gets to criticize them. Got it.

Quite a contrast between two very different teams.

Posts like these are really frustrating. People are allowed to see things differently and when they do, it's not because of "hate". Canuck fans have also commented in this thread that this game was boring.

Canucks are still in the driver's seat thanks to Sissons but this has to be considered one of the least convincing series lead I've seen in a long time. They have been the worst team in 4/5 games. Not sure what's up with Petterson but he's not looked very good at all.

He's probably injured, but who isn't at this time of year? Regardless, his engagement and intensity seem so low. He needs a sliver of the give a crap from JT Miller.

Petterson seems a bit like Gaudreau to me. Lots of talent, but capable of disappearing and when he’s not making really fantastic plays he’s not effective at all. And maybe he is injured and those kind of players are more hampered by injuries than guys that can power through.

Pettersen strikes me as the type of guy you think is injured and then when the series is over he tells you he's fine.

I think Winnipeg would've smashed both these teams and they just got smashed by Colorado. This is a very low quality series.

^ I do wonder if the game plan changes when (if?) the Canucks face the Oilers and they play a more aggressive faster style? Or if this is what Tocchet has deemed playoff hockey and the only way he thinks they can win?

What I'm seeing is that Vancouver can't handle the physicality and grinding that Nashville is doing. The Oilers don't do that so in that sense it could be a better match up.

I wonder how many more penalties the Preds would take if they beat the Nucks and face McDavid and the dive while complaining about officiating brigade

I think that he is injured because he looks like he is overthinking everything, is a half step behind, and he hasn't been able to get any quality shots off that I can recall. He hasn't scored against a quality opponent in almost a month and has just looked mediocre. Now it could be a mental thing but he isn't a big body and I think that makes him more susceptible to getting injured from regular contact that happens to all NHL players over an 82 game season.

My takes after a nights rest:

I still don't really like the Canucks chances in this series as they have looked like the second best team on the ice for prolonged periods of time.

I really didn't like the boarding call against Joshua last night. If a player has played the puck and then puts themselves into a vulnerable position immediately after playing the puck I don't know what should be called. Luke Evangelista dumps the puck in and then spins into the boards, gets hit and then snaps his head back to sell the call. Not the reason the Canucks lost the game, that is from only scoring one goal, but it feels like this happens a lot and it keeps getting called.
