Watched a real quiet gem of a movie on Crave the other day - The Peanut Butter Falcon. Has Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Fanning & Zack Gottsagen in it. LeBeouf is not an actor I like all that much but he was great in this.

Between Peanut Butter Falcon and Honey Boy, Shia LaBeouf has changed my opinion of him. I think he was excellent in both and seems to have got his life in order a little bit. Hopefully he stays on track.
The Outsider definitely lost some steam as the season went on (similar to the book) but I still enjoyed it. Ben Mendelsohn continues to be one of my favourite actors though.
My wife hated his character in Bloodlines so much, it was rather funny.

Rewatched Brockmire on Crave not long ago. Completely forgot about the 3rd season. 4th Season starts today on IFC. Worth a quick laugh and some baseball for those that need sports like me

Another under the radar gem for people looking for more content while they're staying in.

I can never watch anything with Shia LeBeouf in it. Reminds me of PepsiFree too often.
The Righteous Gemstones is great, it's a Danny McBride project about a family of super rich televangelists, also stars John Goodman and Adam DeVine. Walton Goggins is at his best playing Goodman's backwoods preacher brother in law, and I think Goggins and McBride are one of the best comedic duos of their generation.
McBride seems to know his sweet spot with making shows: play the same character every time but kill the series before it starts getting stale, then put a couple years between shows so the character doesn't get stale.

Curb Your Enthusiasm season finale last night. It was hilarious. The celebrity cameos with their own spite stores was cool, and The Big Johnson community had me howling.
I have enjoyed Curb your Enthusiasm this season but a little let down with the finale. Still there were some good laughs but the cameos and the final few minutes weren’t up to the show’s usual standards IMO. Some of the middle episodes this season were some of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while though.

I thought it was pretty good as well, but Larry seemed to be hamming it up / overacting on occasion. Some stuff also seemed a little out of character even for Larry. Like the last episode asking the hypothetical question about the skin tone of the baby didn’t seem like something he would do.
