Likely explains his zero takeaways.

I was a little worried on that one he might get a penalty as the puck had moved on.

It is an ongoing discussion. I would think it is too difficult to pick between, say, Crosby and Ovechkin in one generation. Which one is not a generational player?

Jeff ONeill is absolutely correct. Leafs played like horses**t and their power play has sucked. Calgary has dominated so far.

Where as Monahan, while still struggling is at least for he king, hitting, grinding. Moving the puck.
This stange biased narrative is really weird to me. Johnny is literally not doing anything to make his team better. In fact to me, he is waiting for other players to do the dirty work and make him better.
If Monahan and Gaudreau fly as the other flies, they both crashing into the earth like an asteroid.
I swear to God the "poor johnmy" folk have lost their minds.

Monahan would miss the planet or flub it up to another cosmic body.

When he came in Sakic and Forsberg were dominating the selections, and then he got his one. And then Sid, Malkin, Sedin and McDavid with one each for Tavares and Draisaitl.

Is it a tie or a 2 goal lead that’s worse? 😂 I can’t remember!

He is not a top-ten career player in any category. Thornton is.

Guess you missed Johnny out hustle Reilly on that icing then
It’s hard for him to create offense when he’s expected to take the zone AND be the puck retriever

So one play out 9f maybe 15 to 20 I watched him let die. Cool beans. Keep on preaching preacher man.
The faultless superstar Johnny Gaudreau is willing his team to victory!
