When you're struggling offensively, you have to focus on scoring those deflection goals, scramble goals and the like. Forget the cute tic tac toe stuff.

Good to see Gio get his 500th point. Yes it is a rough season, as a flames fan, but what Gio has done after being undrafted in both juniors and the NHL, is nothing short of impressive.

Default With Gio's 500th point Flames may have tied a record?
the site I was looking at may be slightly incomplete as it does combine franchises across different cities,but with Gio's 500th point that makes him the 3rd defenceman in a Calgary Flames jersey to record 500 points (MacInnis, Suter)


joining Montreal (Robinson, Lapointe, Markov) and Chicago (Wilson, Keith, Murray)


I'd be interested to know if my search is incomplete or I missed someone
