and speaking of Barca, it is crazy to me what is going on with Pedri. The kid is 18 years old, played 52 games for Barca last season, went to the Euros and then went to the Olympics. He's played a total of 72 games this past season ... and now doesn't want to take a holiday as he returns to Barca. Just insane. At some point, you got to give the kid a break.

Doesn't Messi going to PSG make Neymar sulk again?
PSG is really turning into the Evil Team.

Do we care? Is this a thing we're caring about now?

Messi being there probably means more time for Neymar to go back to Brazil to party with his sister.

I care about anything and everything that would make PSG fracture.

Her birthday party only happens once a year... how anyone can expect him to not be injured at that time every year is just expecting too much

has to be the most boring big transfer of all time. One of the best footballers of all time joins the two most expensive footballers of all time to play for a plastic oil club in a league that nobody gives a #### about. Meh.
the Schadenfreude will be glorious when they inevitably blow it in the CL again.

They might still lose Ligue 1! Lots of good things happening in Ligue 1. And half of PSG's lineup is injury prone. Neymar, Verratti etc...

And why not, takes the spotlight off himself for another upcoming season of failed expectations.

Salary cap/luxury tax seems like a non-starter. Big clubs will resist and I doubt the players would agree to it either.

Ya, players will push back hard
Not all the big clubs would push back though, if it's based on the spain one for example, I think you'd get clubs like united, liverpool, spurs, and arsenal all for it. Since it's based on revenue, city would oppose for sure, chelsea maybe.

Koeman is so screwed. He is the sacrificial lamb of the post-Messi period.
I hope he's getting a paid a ton.
I would not agree to be Barca's 'Post-Messi-Manager' unless you literally bathed me in money.
