Gabriel Diallo lost just now to Rodionov 2-6 7-5 6-1. Gabe played very well in the first two sets but seemed to run out of gas in set 3. He also had his upper left leg wrapped today, didn't seem to impact his movement all that much though. Live rankings has him at a new career high of #177

I'm not convinced he's ready to win a slam on grass yet, but he's certainly handling these slower hard courts with ease.
what is even 19 year old Carlitos though, does he actually have 6 more years of steady improvement towards his peak, or did he just mature incredibly early? when you think of the Big 3 at 19, they all had significant vulnerabilities and would have been dunked on by current Charlie, except possibly for young dirt Rafa.

Charlies' aggression and comfort at net are already big grass assets, so he'll go as far as his serve takes him. that part is already increasing in speed and placement at every tournament, at this rate he might be #2 in odds by the time Wimby doors open.

Charlie appears to be back from his cramping, but Sinner is still up a break.

Leylah + Taylor Townsend are into the women's doubles final. They take on Gauff and Pegula following a 1-6 6-2 14-12 win over Linette and Para.

Katherine Sebov won her second qualifier, again, which I think gets her into the main draw of the Charleston Open, a Wta 500 event.
Pleased to see her continued success and climb in rankings, currently at a career high of 146th

Yes! Sebov gets Lauren Davis in round 1 and would get Bencic if she wins.

Dominant Daniil. Sinner still has to take a step before he's in the upper echelon of the men's game.

Katherine indeed did prevail 4-6 6-1 6-2 and faces a tough match against Bencic next.

Genie Bouchard is using a protected ranking to play in the WTA 250 event in Bogota this week. She won her first match over Ylena In-Albon of Switzerland 6-3 6-2

Live ranking now 133. She been playing well above her ranking and qualifying for WTA 500 events. For a player outside the top 100 to make this 56-player field means she belongs

Carol Zhao just won a three set marathon in Bogota. 3 hours 26 minutes.
Something about Canadians and serving. Zhao double faulted 23 times!
