Last night, Padres down 4-0 in the 8th. 7th and 8th hitters get on. Melvin asks the 9th batter Azocar to sacrifice.

Reasoning: I wanted my best guys Bogaarts, Soto and Machado up with runners on 2nd and 3rd.
Bogaarts hit a sac fly and Soto struck out. Padres lost 4-1.

McKenna drops a routine fly ball for the Orioles which gave Redsox life and Duvall hits a 2 run HR to win it the next at bat

In a shocking turn of events, Machado is the first player to get ejected because of a pitch clock violation. *

* Spring training doesn't count.

Such a blatant violation too. Just standing there doing the Nomar Garciapara for 10 seconds.

Minor leagues, no hitter lose 7-5. Of course it's the Angels affiliate.

So last year Yankees got off to a historic start. This year the Rays are mashing teams. Weak schedule early on but games aren't even close. I hate it

Evan Gattis just lost his invite to all future 2017 Astros reunions. Nevermind admitting he took steroids.

Also; hope he is okay he's been tweeting crazy #### for hours now.

I always like Jomboy media’s breakdowns. This one was just intereting on pitching tipping their hand.

I don't know, for me there's still lots of questions surrounding the Rays.

We're 9 games into the season and they're the only team in the majors whose bullpen has yet to record a single save. Not sure how you can be a contender if your bullpen can't save a single game.

After how they looked against the Jays in the first series, is anyone surprised at how bad the Cards have been since then?

The NL is crazy good, much better than the AL. They lost to Atlanta and Milwaukee, two contenders. They should roll the Rockies next, at least 2 out of 3.

The Rays are on the verge of going 11-0 to start the season. Craziness.

Nice toss! Didn't Kirk catch heat in this thread for having a weak arm.
