Default Annnnnd..... cut! Flames allow seven unanswered, lose 7-3. Season over.

Orange slices for everyone!

Game seven, seven goals against... same thing.

At least the bubble experience was fun to watch.

Will they make changes? I hope so. But who knows???

Like I posted in the GT:

There are already 23 players these playoffs that have surpassed Gaudreau's career Playoff 5v5 goal total and another 44 players that have matched his Playoff 5v5 goal total.

Brayden Point alone has more 5v5 goals (5) these Playoffs than Gaudreau and Monahan have 5v5 points in 30 Playoff games.

Gurianov had as many 5v5 goals (4) tonight alone as Gaudreau has career 5v5 points in the Playoffs in 30 career games. Same with Monahan.

Time to cut bait.

There's not enough words in the dictionary to explain how pathetic and embarrassing that is

The most Flames playoff game ever.
and they go out, again, with a whimper...

Not even mad at this point. There must be changes after this. We need a real coach, and a heart transplant in the core. They had enough chances, and they haven't come close to showing that they can get it done. Weak & mentally fragile team. Change it up.

The Calgary Flames. Masters of heartbreak. 30 years of it.

Too little, too late.

Needed to play the whole series like they played tonight, and they could eat one tough night by Talbot. Maybe they didn't deserve to lose this one, but they probably didn't deserve to win game 3. It is what it is.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious now, blow this thing to smithereens. There are a couple good players...but in today's league, every team has that. Too many holes in this roster.

That was one of the most draining games I've watched in a long line of terrible playoff games by this crew.

The Flames are like Donald Trump. They're not hurting the people they need to be hurting.

Everything this organization does from a hockey operations perspective is a complete joke.

We deserve better as fans.

Going to jump in on AC's post from below.

Born in '86. Ronnie Stern was probably the first real player I really loved. Dude flipped a puck over the glass for me. Well, he tried...like 5 times, and then threw it over the glass.

This organization does nothing but hang around in mediocrity and it really sucks. I see no direction forward for the on-ice product. They took shortcuts in a race directly back to mediocrity. How depressing.

Honestly, I'm not too angry because I fully expected this... and why wouldn't I? Born in 1988 so I've been able to enjoy roughly 2 seasons overall as a Flames fan, 1 being last year that still ended in complete embarrassment.

Super disappointed. I think we just watched the last of Gaudreau and Monahan with the Flames, and rightly so frankly. This core obviously cannot get it done. Despite Tkachuk not putting up the numbers in the playoffs yet either, at least he and Bennett have a pulse when the games matter.

Sell whatever you can and build around Tkachuk, Bennett, Dube, Mangiapane (I guess?), Andersson, and Valimaki. I'm sure the next rebuild will be less painful... right?!

Maybe we'll somehow fluke our way into a couple top players that raise their games when it matters. Wouldn't that be nice? Sadly it likely means ANOTHER 5-10 years before we look like we have a chance to compete again. Yet we'll likely never bottom out to get a top pick, so we'll probably be a middling team perpetually.

Being a Flames fan sure is fun, fun, fun.

We shouldn't worry too much. Our owner surely has his finger on the pulse of the issue and will demand major changes.
