Might be better off calling up Lomberg if that's the case. Similar size and fighting ability and Lomberg is a better player too.

He's 34 and has a lot of grey in his crazy beard these days. This is his 13th season in the NHL. Sounds like he had a lot longer career than most players get.

Not disagreeing with you but how many of those 13 seasons were injury riddled?

Yeah. Most games played in a season was 79, only 3 seasons out of the 13 in his career did he play more than 70 games in a season.

Seems to be consistently injured.

McCollum was once Flames property and traded to Detroit for a conditional 7th round pick in the 2017 entry draft. A condition obviously was not met, as Calgary did not pick up the Wings' selection.
