Even if this was a thing, why would the blues set out to trade parayko for spare parts? Why wouldn’t the blues and oilers just do that trade?

Only way this is less of a fleecing is if the Coilers turn the cap space into something. Which Im assuming was the point of this trade. Whatever it is it will still be no good.
