Hate being such a strong word. I can’t decide which of those bevvie loving oilers I dislike more.
And I think I dislike Draisaitl more…maybe not…I can’t choose!

I cannot get over how they win those last 2 games lol. 10-12 is what their record should be. Although I did enjoy watching Tkachuk looking like an idiot twice.

Earlier this afternoon on SN they were doing a top 10 McDrai overtime goals. It was vomit inducing. The endless circle jerk over those losers is so f’n pathetic.

didn't even realize they played last night
Skinner with an 820% in chi
then Campbell with another typical Campbell game
their two players are just scratching and clawing each night to outscore their problems now
different looking problems than the Flames are having but **** hockey all the same . looks like alberta is fighting for wildcard spots this year for the chance to waste 8 days

In the last 38 games, Kailer Yamamoto has 1 goal.
$3.1 million for this season and next.

Wasn't Yamamoto part of one one of the best lines in the NHL only a few years ago? seem to remember the Oilers fans saying that. its probably the refs fault for this.

Spector articles in July ...
Quote:
In goal, Campbell and drafted backup Stuart Skinner are a tandem with something to prove, but with the looks of a pair that could succeed.
Campbell was good in Toronto, behind a team that never figured out how to play a game that wins when it counts. He could be better here behind a more responsible defensive team, one that has edged each season towards a team that can beat you 2-1 as adeptly as it can win 7-5 — whichever way an opponent wants the game to be played.
|
Quote:
Here’s a late-developing goalie who came through the ringer that is being a No. 1 netminder in Toronto. He is mature, experienced, and ready to handle the pressures that are inherent with this role on a team that is ready to win.
“It’s giving me chills just thinking about it,” said this self-professed 'cat Dad.' “Being in the lineup with these guys and seeing just how hard they work and how close they were last year, my focus is definitely at an all-time high. I just can't wait to get to Edmonton and work to win the Stanley Cup.”
He’ll need to take another step in his career to win rounds in Edmonton, something he’s never done before. But with just 142 games played at age 30, he’s a late bloomer. He can still improve behind the right team — that is the hope for Campbell here in Edmonton.
|
Quote:
With a five-year, $25 million deal to man the nets in Edmonton, Campbell is finally where he was supposed to be all along: starting in goal for a Stanley Cup contender. Exactly what the Dallas Stars had in mind when they drafted him 11th overall in 2010.

Oilers key to victory is dive, dive, dive and then dive some more, and get Pissy standing at the left faceoff circle until teams figure out to get out there an knock him on his butt.
