Awesome moment at the Dome. They had the “Score in the next minute, win a car” promotion for someone in the crowd. Because it’s Military Appreciation Night, it was for a lady whose husband was in the military and is now disabled.
Of course, the “minute” started with the Flames on the PK. No way they score, right?
Boom — Rieder on a breakaway. New car, Dome goes crazy.
