Nope we met one other time early in my tenure. I don't think I was even a commissioner at that stage, and you had Luc Robitaille in your line up (not sure why I remember that but that's how long ago it was). So yeah it was a long time ago.

My team was too young. Which is the constant mistake I've made. You need some veterans. So when I was 3rd last in the league I made a few moves that seemed to turn it around.

These aren't in sequential order but all happened prior to the turn around over a couple weeks in late Oct/early Nov

I swear the last deal was the most important one. It seemed at the time that I overpaid for JMFJ but the team instantly started to play better when I got him. Sim chemistry is tricky but I would say
- More experience
- More physicality
- More depth

Giving up skill and youth to get that.

Stastny one was biiiiiiiig too. He got the game winning goal with 5 minutes left in games 6 and 7

Stung pretty hard this morning so didn’t really have any comments but it was a great run and could’ve gone either way. Our late game collapses ended up getting the best of us. Ultimately Minnesota was the best team in the regular season this season and in the playoffs, and I was in kindergarten when they last won the championship so they deserve it more than I do.

We plan to contend again next year as always. Gonna let the finals play out and make a team plan once trading is going again

Don't think Jack Johnson for a 2nd is an overpayment. Didn't think it at the time and definitely don't think it now. Good job by Jiri to get a good dman for only a 2nd that stabilized the sim results.
