Big win in game 1. The top line really carried the offense in this one. Stone scored two straight goals to seal the deal. Good comeback after being down 3-1.
Lehkonen and Braun both left the game with injuries. Hopefully they are minor.

Both goalies were a little rusty in this one but the Sharks pulled it out with the 2nd and 3rd line doing most of the damage. Kris Letang was great.

Drop game 1 and get an injury. Sounds about right.

The top line of Pacioretty-Getzlaf-Pastrnak rose to the occassion. Pasta with 2G 2A.
The new guys, Vatanen, Duchene and Atkinson all had points. Hopefully that means the team is ready for the playoffs.

Greatest fear played out in the first game as the team played very well in a tight checking game, but Andersen was pretty brutal... We need Andy at .9% or higher to have a sniff IMO. If he flops again we're going to throw in Forsberg for game 3! On to the next one.

Figured my losing ways to end the regular season would continue.
Major shake up for game two.

Special teams were the difference as the Leafs pull off the Game 1 upset.

I limped into the playoffs. Made a bunch of changes but will see if I can turn this around quickly.
Maybe a bad start will wake the team up, who knows.

Leafs came out flying, scoring 3 goals within the first 6 minutes.
The D let us down by taking so many penalties and the remaining D, already missing their #1, couldn't sustain the pressure. Luckily for Philly fans, Ekholm returns for game 2 and we are confident we will get back into this.
