Garry Galley just called Pietrangelo "Petro-Antonio".

Amazing. 1-0 MTL over STL by the way!

That Ovy PP goal is kinda crazy.

Awkward Half bouncing pass from Carlson and he still is able to release it that quick and get a one timer off.

I've seen people praise the Capitals PP often. It's almost all Ovechkin to me. haha.

It's very meat and potatoes. They have some different options in having right handed shots, but Ovechkin just scores on so many opportunities that would amount to nothing from any other player.

Agreed that Ovechkin is dynamite with the one timer, however, that is as skilled a PP as there is in the NHL. Not just Ovechkin.

There are many elements that make it great.

Kuznetsov's incredible hands and edgework down low.
Backstrom's vision and delicate passing.
Oshie as a RHS bumper to recieve passes from behind the net(from Kuzy) or t his right (from Backstrom) and generate chances from that
Carlson's own one-timer from both the high slot as well as the left circle to keep teams from ignoring him.
And yes Ovechkin.

It is important to remember that their PP has been together for a very long time That's a huge advantage for set plays.

Blue lose with 10 seconds left on a brainfart and don't even get a point.

That's a shame.

Washington in OT

Any normal goalie with a normal glove would have made that save.
Lundqvists glove is stupid.

Commercial "PK and the predators have taken 12 straight, can Conner and the orange crush stop the streak?"
What the hell is the "orange crush"? is that the group of pylons that McLotto skates around and bounces pucks off of every game?

Yeah they would probably still be decent without him, but the guy just scores so many goals from situations that don't even look that dangerous.

He's good for 15-20+ PP goals per year.

The difference last season between the 5th team in the NHL in PP goals and the 25th team was 20 goals.

Because of the fact he is so dangerous, teams try to cheat towards him to shut him down and it creates more space for everyone else.

I think he would make any PP in the NHL at least average or better.

Yeah I don’t think any other player scores that goal tonight.

A broken play with Carlson stretching to keep it in and Ovy just times it perfectly and tees it up - Boom goal.

The PP is very good but I feel like at least one goal a week is Ovy just blowing a simple point man to him one timer past the goalie.

Wow, brainfart to the extreme. Colton Parayko is not sleeping tonight after that.
