Way to go Ferly! I hope he scores 30 this season.

Any idea how Hamilton has done? I bet both teams are happy with the trade thus far.

Connor needs at least 3 points to get the Oilers a point. Tough task.

We are gonna really win this trade when he signs in Calgary as a free agent this offseason.

Wow, and just like that, Flyers score two more off horrible turnovers and bad defense. I mean junior level defense. Hutchinson can't make a save this period.

The Flyers have scored 5 goals on 11 shots. Pitiful.

May I also add that the Panthers haven't won a game yet? If it keeps going like this they may not win a game by Thanksgiving. Not a good start to the year.

Perlini just scored a ridiculous goal for the Coyotes.

The homerism of the Oilers play-by-play is incredibly unbearable. Do home fans even enjoy this kind of ridiculous commentary?

The possibility is there, Him and his family really liked Calgary. He had alot of friends here. BT said he didn't want to trade him.

All true.

I said it kind of tongue in cheek because he would be hard to squeeze in under the cap. We would absolutely have to trade Stone and Frolik to make it work. Ya never know, Treliving has been a bit if a magician at times.

You could ask them, but they'll probably just deflect and say Hrudey is worse.

One of the great things about Centre Ice is being able to choose Oilers or Jets feed. I'm watching the game on TSN - no Oilers homerism, Bob MacKenzie and crew in the intermission.

Something I've noticed lately from watching a lot of various teams' local broadcasts is that it's very common around the league for play by play guys to call their teams players by their first name or nickname during play, thankfully Rick Ball never does this.

Congrats Necas on your first NHL goal. Absolute beauty, too.

The Oilers guy always says McDavid's whole name when he's got a chance. He doesn't describe what he's doing - all he says is the name.

4-1. Jets powerplay is picking up where it left off last year. Scheiffle is almost unstoppable on it.

How many of McRumtumtum’s goals have been individual efforts and is that indicative of his poor team mates or the fact he doesn’t use them well?
