Exclamation [Video] Jagr 17/18 Highlights

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SLvZRLfH3o

Obviously Jagr didn't work out and only put up 1G + 6A in 22 games, but it was still a really cool experience having a legitimate legend on the team, and he actually had some dominant shifts. This video is pretty relaxed when it comes to the definition of highlights, but I wanted to showcase how many extended cycling shifts he was a part of, as well as his mentoring, and some fun moments too.

The fact that Jaromir freakin' Jagr was a Calgary Flame is just amazing. The news of him signing with the Flames was one of the more exciting moments in recent times.

I've been watching and enjoying your videos for years and just noticed the "AC" where the "SNET" usually is in the score bar. Have you been doing this the whole time?

If you have been doing this for a long time and I'm just noticing now, I have to re-think my awareness on things. I used to think of myself as relatively sharp. I don't anymore.

Haha, no. Started doing it last year.

Fair enough, but I've still watched basically all your vids since last year and I never noticed.

My original point about myself still stands.

May not have worked out as well as everyone hoped, but I am still happy I can say Jaromir Jagr played for the Flames. Will wear my Jagr Flames jersey proudly.

It was cool to see him in a Flames uniform but my opinion is that he was was past playing at a competitive level. It was actually painful to watch when they showed him on the bench. I don’t thing he was having fun and who knows what injuries and/or age related issues he was dealing with.

Are you kidding? Watch the video. Jagr made things happen. He generated chances.

He looked like a 45 year old man who missed training camp. Whatever injuries he accumulated while trying to get up to speed robbed him of the last step he couldn't afford to lose. If they'd signed him in July, I bet he would've played the full season.

I saw him play Chicago on New Year's Eve, and you could see him heading to the right places. Had he been two steps behind, it wouldn't have been a problem. But he was down three.

It's crazy how big he is. He looked like someone's dad out there playing against a bunch of kids in a junior league.

Still good value for a player that was only getting 1 mil a year. Too bad his knees gave up.

I have a Flames Jagr jersey hanging on my wall that isn't a lie. I'm happy
