Excellent. Some offensive confidence by scoring in the AHL could do wonders for his game. There’s still hope for him yet

Against all indications, I still have high hopes for this kid. I don't even know why.

Hard not to like him with his great attitude, makes it easier to believe in him.

Might we see 6'3 236 lbs Anthony Peluso?

Tear it up down there, Curtis.

I wonder if we'll see someone else get called up or if they'll just go with a 22-man roster for now?

If I had to guess it would be Lomberg that they bring up. He travelled with the team for a bit last year.

I have high hopes for his attitude.

He knows he has to get better and is willing to do that in a lesser league.

This is great news.

He will get to play in the top 6 and gain some confidence.

Mangiapane-Lazar-Foo would be ideal!

May he cherry pick and be a puck-hog until his hearts content. Shoot a tonne. Play a 200 foot game ONLY after he lights up some goalies.

And Bennett could use the same.

I think Lazar will have a good reset in the minors. He has the right attitude going into it. It's nice to have players who want to put in the work to be better rather than crying for undeserved NHL icetime.

Ryan Leslie @ryanleslie73
Curtis Lazar telling me moments ago that he’s excited to play regularly & get his swagger back as he is Stockton bound.

Always handles himself like a fine young pro. No different this time around.

He is not much of an upgrade on Rittich or Gillies if at all. I don't think the Flames make a goaltending acquisition unless it is to acquire a significantly better player than what they already have on the roster.
